Footnotes

  • A fine association copy, signed by John Logie Baird (1888-1946), the first person to produce televised pictures of objects in motion, and the central figure in Dinsdale's pioneering work on television. The position of the signature on the blank half-title, rather than the title or portrait frontispiece, suggests that this was Baird's own copy.
