Five carved 'silhouette' agate snuff bottles
1780-1880
Each of well-hollowed flattened form, with slightly concave mouth and oval foot surrounded by a short foot ring, the darker brown and honey inclusions carved to depict flowers and insects variously portraying a fisherman on a river bank; writhing kui dragons; fish; and a monkey and peach, the stones of varying greyish-beige and caramel tones, stoppers.
The largest 6.1cm (2¼in) high (10).
