An ivory figure of a lady
19th century
Finely carved as a lady seated with her legs crossed on pierced rockwork, holding a large gnarled branch reaching over her head with myriad blossoms, wearing a long flowing robe decorated with cross-hatched design interspersed with flowers, the minute shoes emerging under the robes, with dogs and a cat playing at her side beside a casket and scrolls.
23.4cm (9¼in) high.
