The mythical beast well carved supported on its back haunches with its front feet raised, the head held high, with bulging eyes under prominent brows, the curved horn flanked by the ears, with a raised nose above the mouth holding a large leafy lingzhi fungus sprig, the trifurcated tail flicked to one side with the hair well denoted, the underside with well-defined feet and hooves, the stone of pale green tone with a light russet inclusion cleverly used to highlight the horn, wood stand, box. 12.5cm (4⅞in) wide (3).
