A carved zitan cylindrical brush pot, bitong
18th/19th century
The exterior densely carved in high relief all around with long curling leafy clusters of vine branches, five small squirrels climbing among them, the separate base carved with stylised rockwork, the integral rim inset with silver-wire scrolling foliage and mother-of-pearl flower heads.
