Painted around the exterior with a fisherman in his boat in conversation with another fisherman with his rod, seated on the bands of the river, all amidst a large overhanging willow tree, rockwork and misty mountain peaks in the background, the scene bisected by scrolling clouds, the interior painted with a central medallion depicting a single seated scholar within a similar landscape, the base with apocryphal Chenghua mark.
21.6cm (8½in) diam.
