A celadon-glazed moulded vase

Of flattened pear-shaped form rising from a splayed oval foot to a quatrefoil flaring mouth, the neck set to each side with mask handles suspending loose rings, moulded around the body with shaped panels on either side enclosing the characters 'fu' and 'shou' against foliate scrolls, with a border of upright leaves at the neck above a key-fret scroll.
