The dome cast with overlapping lotus petals interspersed with Tibetan bija syllables, above repeating vajra and dharmachakra motifs between beaded borders, the central shaft rising to the Buddha head crowned with lotus petals supporting the four-pronged half-vajra issuing from the jaws of makara dragons, incised four-character mark zuo er jie chang, the interior with a cast three-character mark. 30.2cm (11⅞in) high
