A rare archaic bronze ritual wine vessel, hu
Han Dynasty and later
The compressed body cast with a high-relief band of stylised taotie on each of the three sides divided by a flange rising from the mask-headed legs, three crouching frogs on the plain upper part, one above each flange below the flaring rim, the surface extensively lightly green patinated and with richer malachite patches.
