A pair of cloisonné enamel jars and covers

Each of ovoid form rising to the high shoulders and short neck, raised on a slightly tapering gilt foot, the exterior colourfully enamelled with eight large leafy lotus blossoms between a ruyi-head border and lotus-petal panels, flanked by a pair of gilt lion-mask loose-ring handles, the neck with a classic scroll, the covers similarly decorated, the interior turquoise enamelled.
