An unusual cloisonné enamel slender vase
Late 16th century
Of exaggerated pear shape with low angular body with high slender concave trumpet neck rising to a wide, everted mouth, enamelled around the sides with meandering lotus scrolls bearing blossoms, with upright lotus lappets below and a chevron band at the foot, the rim with classic-scroll band and hanging beaded pendants.
