A rare white jade 'goose and bird of prey' finial
Jin-Yuan Dynasty
The finial carved in openwork with a bird of prey above a wild goose amidst interlaced leafy lotus tendrils, with a dragonfly at the top feeding off a lotus pod, the stone of grey-white tone with very minor russet inclusions, four holes at the base.
