A pair of lacquered bronze bottle vases
Late Meiji/Taisho Period
Both supported on a low, slightly tapered foot, the pear-shaped body decorated in gold takamakie with a three-clawed, horned dragon in flight writhing its way down from the neck, the bronze with a brown patina suffused with red patches, unsigned. Both 30cm (11¾in) high. (2).
