Of oval form, the kinji ground elaborately decorated in typical Shibayama style with a sumptuously-caparisonned elephant on one side, led by two karako shown on the reverse playing fanfares, unsigned; with ivory figural netsuke of a mother holding a child, signed Hakuyo. 7.7cm (3in) high.
