Persian manuscript on paper, 17 lines of text written in large thuluth script in black ink, significant sentences picked out in red, interlinear rules in gold, inner margins ruled in yellow and gold, illuminated headpiece and outer border with cartouches incorporating Arabic texts relating to marriage, numerous seal impressions of witnesses, creased, trimmed, tears, crudely repaired, unframed
