of bulbous multi-faceted form with an octagonal flared foot, the octagonal neck slightly flaring towards the rim, with a hinged pear-shaped lid, the tapering hexagonal spout terminating in a circular grooved finial, the curved handle with a long hexagonal thumb rest, profusely decorated with silver and copper inlay with large medallions containing tughra-style motifs, cyprus trees and floral interlace with three bands of kufic script, the lid with a band of thuluth script
