Turkey, circa 1570
underglaze, decorated in cobalt blue, raised red, green and black outline on a white ground, the decoration comprising two registers, the upper register with floral and leafy stems, the lower register with floral motifs and saz leaves and elaborate tear-shaped motifs decorated with Chinese cloud bands, mounted in frame, broken and restored to one corner
