rectangular, embroidered in silver and gilt thread and with applique silk panels containing thuluth inscriptions on a black silk ground, the upper field with a red cartouche, below two red roundels within floral swags, the central field with a yellow medallion containing a tughra, flanked by red and yellow cartouches, above a further yellow cartouche, the interspaces filled with floral and foliate swags, the lower field with a rectangular section containing floral swags, all within a floral vine border, backed
