by Robert Hennell II, London 1826,
with scalloped rim, the wooden base with central silver disc engraved with a coat-of-arms, raised on three foliate and scroll embellished shell feet, diameter 30.5cm.

  • These are the coronet, shield and badges of HenryNevill, Earl of Abergavenny who was knighted and invested as a Knight of the Thistle by the Prince Regent in his closet at Carlton House on 23 May 1814. The earl died on 17 November 1823.
