by Lale Silverware Co. Ltd, incuse marked Lale 925 STERLING,
the bowl embossed in high relief with a band of leaf scrolls above a band of stylised flower heads and flutes, gilded interior, the column with classical figures, depicting a female figure holding a chalice up to a male term on a tapering plinth, draped in a lion skin and fruiting vines, a winged cherub seated at their feet playing a pipe, all on a raised hexagonal plinth, with leaf scroll panelled sides, on an octagonal base with cherubs riding mythological style dolphins between four shell bowls, on bracket feet, height 63cm.
