  • The arms are those of JOLLIFFE with PYTCHES quartering RUSSELL in pretence. In 1799 the Revd William John Jolliffe married Julia, daughter and heiress of Sir Abraham Pytches of Streatham. The engraved coronet would have been added post-1866 after the couple's eldest son took the title Baron HYLTON on elevation to the peerage thirty years after his father's death.
