Arabic manuscript on vellum, 17 lines to the page written in elongated and dispersed kufic script in brown ink, red dots probably added at a later date, clusters of gold dots between verses, gold inverted commas indicating every fifth verse (khamsa), and a gold square device indicating every tenth verse (ashr), creased, waterstained, in mount, framed
