Turkey, dated AH 1007/ AD 1598-9
rectangular, decorated in cobalt-blue, turquoise, raised-red and green on a white ground, the central field comprising three cartouches filled with blue thuluth inscription, the bottom line with a floral arabesque medallion at each end, the interspaces filled with arabesques, all within an acanthus border
