Surmounted by the substantial reeded hinged handle over the deep cornice with dentil moulding and shaped rectangular case with term mounts to each of the four corners, bordering the circular white enamel Arabic dial and subsidiary alarm dial with matt gilt mask, over a band of scalloped moulding and shaped plinth base, the lever movement with alarm striking the hours and half hours on a single blued steel gong, numbered 1923; together with a leather fitted case. 19cm (7.5in)
