Gilt verge movement signed Ellicott, London, finely pierced and engraved balance cock with diamond end stone, three armed steel balance wheel with knife edge crossing, cylinder escapement, maker's style pillars, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals bordered by minute track and outer Arabic divisions, blue steel beetle and poker hands, plain inner case by John Beasley hallmarked London 1757, chased classical scene to the outer case depicting Zephyr and Flora, movement and dust cover signed
