UNITED STATES FLAG CARRIED ON APOLLO 11.
A silk US flag, 4 by 6 inches. Mounted on a 10 by 12 inch NASA certificate which reads: "This flag traveled to the Moon with Apollo 11, the first manned lunar lading, July 20, 1969." The certificate includes the last names of the Apollo 11 crew and the mission emblem in color. The bottom edge has the first words by Neil Armstrong after stepping onto the Moon: "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
