VON BRAUN MENTIONING GRAVITY RESEARCH.
Autograph Note Signed ("B"), in English, 1 p, 8vo, [early to mid-1950s], on personal stationery, to Ernst Stuhlinger and Gerhard Heller of the Research Projects Laboratory.
Von Braun writes to his Peenemünde and Operation Paperclip colleagues. In full: "Enclosed article by [Hermann?] Weyl looks like a pretty intelligent appraisal of today's status of gravity research. (For the time being I suggest we continue to put our money on rockets!) incl. electrical ones." The postscript is a nod to Stuhlinger, one of the pioneers of electric rocket propulsion.
