  • Jean-Henri Jansen (1854-1928) founded the celebrated design firm Maison Jansen in 1880. Soon after, Jansen bought the Joseph-Emmanuel Zwiener archives and rights, incorporating the established firm into Maison Jansen, renaming it Zwiener Jansen Successeur, marking the subsequent bronze mounts with ZJ.
