Footnotes

  • M.B-L comments: "I believe this to be one of the most complete collections of Georgian glassware for vacuum experiments in existence. West bought all the remaining Adams stock when Dudley Adams went bankrupt at the beginning of the 19th century and retailed them under a catalogue in his own name. West was not a manufacturer in his own right."
