Footnotes

  • The Sonata is an in-house Ulysse Nardin creation, inspired by Dr. Ludwig Oechslin and constructed by Pierre Gygax and Lucas Humair. Nearly seven years were spent on the development of this watch's self-winding manufacture calibre with alarm setting, countdown indicator and dial time system. The melodic chiming of the alarm is based on a unique 24 hour mechanism that allows the alarm to be set up to 23 hours and 59 minutes ahead.
