A white jade 'basket weave' snuff bottle
mid Qing dynasty Of compressed globular form, the white stone skilfully worked in varying levels of relief to simulate a vessel wrapped for protection in a basket weave casing, the short cylindrical neck skilfully worked with a design of four stiff leaves, stopper. 5.6cm (2¼in) high. (2).
