A rare 1807/08 Navy contract flintlock pistol

The 10 1/8 inch tapered round barrel in .62 caliber, the breech with the eaglehead over CT inspector's mark of Charles Williams. Flat lockplate, the interior marked PS. Brass furniture, the counterplate with belt hook removed. Walnut stock.
Condition: Very good. Barrel with mottled grey patina showing some light pitting. Lock with dark patina and some minor pitting. Pan cover loose and possibly an old replacement, the screw badly marred. Unpolished brass. Stock with scattered marks, old repaired crack at fore-end, some chipping at buttcap and with neatly inlaid piece of wood where belthook was removed.
