- Alexander Ney's sculpture, Interplanetary Historian, is remarkable for its ability to encompass both the ancient past and the distant future. This unique terracotta sculpture is inspired by masterpieces of the ancient Mideast and pre-Egyptian world, as well as visions of a futuristic cosmic civilization. Over the past thirty-five years, Ney has received praise from many artists and designers including Gene Moore, who annually displayed Ney's works in the windows of Tiffany & Co.
