A black and red lacquered wood two-door cabinet
Early 19th Century
Its sides painted with flower and bird panels, the top and door fronts with figure scenes painted in shades of red, black, gold and green lacquer with black framing devices, the interior fitted for use as a desk with slide-out writing table, suggesting that the cabinet stood on a separately built table or cupboard that is now lost; chased metal hardware and bail handles to the sides.
