From the Havell edition of The Birds of America, handcolored engraving with aquatint and etching on J Whatman 1836 paper, with wide margins, in very good condition aside from very pale light-, mat-, and backboard staining, yellow attenuated, foxing on verso (visible to recto in places), uneven glue? staining in left margin, verso (visible to recto as a white area), soft handling creases, 1in crease in upper left sheet edge, 2 small pieces of brown paper tape at left and right sheet edges, verso, framed.
