MONT BLANC: 4th of July 2004 Limited Edition
The 4th of July pen is a limited edition of 56 pieces, paying tribute to the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. Among them was Thomas Jefferson, whose image is finely engraved in the platinum-plated, 18-karat gold nib. The body is made of red precious resin and is striped in mother-of-pearl and white gold filigree, representing the red and white stripes of the flag. The body and cap are star-studded and feature 13 signatures selected from the 56 signers. This pen, numbered 32 of 56, includes box and papers, which bear the classic painting depicting the signing of the declaration.
