  • SIGNED FIRST EDITIONS BY THOMAS ARNE AND JOHN LAMPE, two composers who had previously collaborated on English operas at Arne's Little Theatre in the Haymarket. Arne later went on to marry Lampe's sister-in-law, Cecilia Young, one of the finest English sopranos of the century and whose performances included the opening production of Comus in 1738.
