  • The location of the subject may be Heacham in North West Norfolk. The Norfolk online archive lists an EDP report in November 1936 referring to Norfolk's new lavender industry at Heacham and there are photographs at Gressenhall Museum of lavender being harvested in 1930, the company Norfolk Lavender, based at Caley Mill still harvests lavender in this area.
