“The Literary Temperaments … Mr. Andrew Lang.” Pen & ink and watercolor on paper, 105 x 310 mm, unsigned. Mild toning, matted and framed.

Andrew Lang [1844-1912] was Scottish man of letters, poet, novelist, and editor best remembered for his series of Fairy Books. Here Beerbohm pictures Lang as having long, flexible legs intertwined with each other.

20% from $100,001 to $2,000,000 of the Hammer Price

Payment Notices
