the spreading top centred by a parcel-gilt turquoise ground porcelain medalion depicting a group of bacchic putti, within a foliate frieze, the angles with floral garlands, opening to reveal a cream-ground silk interior, the corners with scrolling acanthus leaf mounts, flanked to each side by a foliate handle, on pierced scrolling foliate feet, 68cm wide, 50cm deep, 37cm high (26.5" wide, 19.5" deep, 14.5" high).
