A mss letter, on three pages, dated 20th Sept 1910 to "Dear Christy" concerning lecture fees.
Shakleton states that the enclosures (no longer present) speak for themselves and continues "Lee Keedick has written again saying can 20 lectures at minimum £100. What are our lecture prospects in this country? We have full halls here all the time. I cannot understand that there is no more money in it..." He continues that Wade should pay at once, "Wade keeps it until the end of the tour, anyhow there are only two more lectures..."
