no apparent makers mark, London 1775,
on two mollusk feet, length 11.5cm, together with a small collection of other shell dishes, comprising: two other silver examples, London 1894 and Birmingham 1905, a pair of plated on copper dishes, by Waterhouse & Co, another plated on copper example, a pair of electroplated dishes, with deep bowls, on three mythological fish supports, a set of four similar smaller salts, an electroplated shell butter dish on a cast base of mythological fish, an electroplated shell dish and a bowl, a small quantity of plated condiment spoons, together with a pair of Corinthian column candlesticks and a dwarf pair.
