A mid 19th century painted wood, mica and shell decorated Diorama of a House
within a pitch pine and parcel gilt case, the case with a sloping glazed front panel, the house modelled in the mid-Georgian style with seven bays and positioned on a shell decorated bank, with steps to the front door and a fence with gate below, the house frontage and front garden with flowering cut paper foliage 48cm wide, 37.5cm deep, 47.5cm high (18.5" wide, 14.5" deep, 18.5" high)
