'Tropheé' a green patinated bronze figural Group, circa 1925
modelled as two scantily clad male athletes supporting a third who is seated upon their shoulders, holding a laurel leaf in his out-stretched arm, on marble base
64cm high, signed to base 'Le Faguays'

Footnotes

  • This three male athlete group was made by the Le Verrier foundry in the mid 1920's. The top man was also made as a statue on his own called Gloire. This group apparently represent Peace and Victory.
