Footnotes

  • Condition: G-F II 4(v>)

As this musical box has an odd number of cylinders, the spacing on the silvered tunesheet to accommodate the fifth listing is inscribed lower centre. The spacing here is slightly tighter and therefore may have been a genuine after-thought. All five cylinders play the pleasing mix of operatic, overture and dance airs commonly associated with larger Palliard musical boxes.
