Naqada III, circa 3100 B.C.
With thin scalloped ridges around the top of the jar for grip, the body decorated with a net-pattern in reddish slip, the rim slightly flaring with a rolled lip, the base flat, an old label on the underside, 10¾in (27.4cm) high, rim chipped
