An Egyptian scarab bracelet
Middle Kingdom - New Kingdom, circa 2000-1000 B.C.
Composed of seven glazed steatite scarabs, contained in linked gold mounts, including a turquoise glazed scarab engraved with good luck hieroglyphs within a rope coil border; another, the underside carved with Maat seated; an example with Tuthmosis III represented as a sphinx trampling the enemy; a decorative scarab, not ancient; two scarabs with interlocking scroll decoration; and a scarab, the underside engraved with a Hathor head; with a pendant cowroid engraved with the name of Tuthmosis III, the scarabs and cowroid ranging from 13mm-15mm long
