comprising a semi-circular wooden stand, inlaid with parquetry and mother of pearl and banded with a whalebone border. Backed with a pierced whalebone upstand inscribed with two crinolined ladies and a wreath of leaves. A central pin cushion is flanked by two whale's teeth inscribed with male and female rustic gardeners. 6.5x10.5x6in(17x27x15cm)
