one side predominantly dark brown, the other side predominantly a lighter brown, kings as Tribal chieftains, queens as consorts, bishops holding crosses, knights as horsemen, rooks as tribal huts, pawns as tribesmen with pot bellies,
the king 9cm high, the pawn 5.5cm high.
