Surmounted by a brass handle over moulded side apertures with silk-lined fishscale frets on a moulded plinth base and later bras ball feet, the door with fretted quadrants above the six inch brass dial with rise/fall subsidiary to the arch flanked by satyr mask mounts, the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, and outer Arabic five-minute markers, finely matted centre, calendar aperture, dummy pendulum and finely cast cornucopia spandrels, the signed wire fusee movement converted to anchor escapement, rack striking on bell and trip repeat, rise/fall lever lacking 46cm (18in) high.
